Nature management plan 2023 - Climate search area

File indicates in which areas compensation can be granted to climate services for climate goals through agricultural nature and landscape management. Zones to temporarily retain water to prevent flooding elsewhere. In addition, the climate measures are aimed at sustainable soil management; increasing the organic matter content of the soil so that it can retain more water that can be released in times of drought. Minerals are also retained so that less leaching into the subsurface and watercourses takes place, which improves the quality of the soil and surface water. The soil is the basis of circular agriculture. The use of raw manure or crop residues increases the organic matter in the soil. This part of the Nature Management Plan 2023 has been established on 30-08-2022.
