File indicates in which areas compensation can be granted to blue services for water board objectives through agricultural nature and landscape management. Buffer zones consisting of a herb-rich zone that is mowed periodically and from which the clippings are removed, and sustainable soil management with regard to all measures aimed at water retention and improving water quality. The soil is the basis of circular agriculture. Soil improvement by applying raw manure or crop residues increases the organic matter in the soil. A soil with a high organic matter content can absorb more water and is more resistant to drought. Such soil can also retain more nitrogen and minerals and has a richer soil life that contributes to healthy crops. Within the limited soil area, management agreements can be made to improve the quality of the soil. This part of the Nature Management Plan 2022 has been established on 01-09-2021.
