Environmental vision - Groundwater protection areas

?The groundwater protection areas with water that is pumped up between 1 and 25 years are located around the water extraction area. About seventy percent of our drinking water is extracted from groundwater. It is therefore important to prevent contamination of the groundwater. Requirements therefore apply to the direct and indirect discharge of hazardous substances onto or into the soil. This file consists of the following map layers: 1. Groundwater protection 2. Groundwater protection expires in the plan period. The province and its partners strive to protect groundwater as a source of drinking water supply. The update plan was adopted by the Provincial Council on 19 December 2018.
