EHS 2009 search area robust connections and ecological connection zones (history)

The robust connections and ecological connection zones are essential parts of the National Ecological Network (Ecological Main Structure), but traces and the details have not yet been completed everywhere. That is why they are shaded on the EHS map. The rules do not apply to the shaded area, with the exception of the nature areas below. They are part of the EHS. When the details of the connections have been completed, the result will be added to the EHS map. The following data has been used for the connecting zones: The robust connections and the stream valleys with nature development as an ecological connecting zone (POPII, map 3.) and the EVZ search area (yellow areas from report Goed op Weg 2007).
