Game Management Units

WBE area changes are recorded in the FRS (Fauna Registration System). As a result, there is only one national digital file. WBE limit corrections are implemented once a year, because a change in a WBE limit has an effect in many places. For example, a border change has consequences for the maps in the FRS and the damage history known to BIJ12 based on postal codes. In addition, water boards use the WBE limits for renting out yachts to WBEs. The new updated WBE limits are also provided to the provinces for the purpose of drawing up the fauna management plan and these limits are published annually by the provinces.
