Employment, working hours and wages of employees

In order to provide a statistical description of the labor market, Statistics Netherlands has developed an integrated system of labor data, the labor accounts. The publication you have now opened contains labor market data from these labor accounts, such as data on employed persons and employees, jobs and the volume of labour. These detailed data can also be found in the tables on labor in the paper publication National Accounts. In note 9.9 of this paper publication you will find more information on the topics related to labour. This table has been discontinued. Data are available from 2001 through 2010. 2001 Q1 through 2011 Q1. Reason for discontinuation: The tables of the National accounts, which can be found under macroeconomics, are being restructured. The tables have been placed in a new folder structure. A number of tables will be revised in the second half of 2011. Some tables are converted one-to-one into a new table, others are split up, others are (partially) merged with other tables. The objective of the restructuring is to increase the findability of the figures. The restructuring coincides with the revision of the business classification used in the national accounts tables. The National accounts have thus been transferred from the SBI '93 to the SBI 2008.
