The coastal topo-bathymetric DEM of La Passion Island – Clipperton at a resolution of 20 m was produced by using the bathymetric and topographic data acquired between 2012 and 2015 by Shom and the PASSION program team. The 20 m coastal grid includes La Passion–Clipperton Atoll and its immediate flanks down to approximately 1500 m depth. Passion Island - Clipperton, located in the Eastern Pacific Ocean, is an isolated uninhabited atoll more than 5000 km from Tahiti in French Polynesia and more than 1000 km from the Mexican coast. The island is the highest point, and the only one emerged, of the Clipperton Ridge. It is the only coral atoll in the eastern Pacific located in the northern hemisphere, at 109° west longitude and 10° north latitude.
