Bathymetric DEM of Reunion facade (Homonim Project)

The bathymetric DEM of the Reunion facade at a resolution of 0.001° (~ 111 m) was produced as part of the HOMONIM project. It completely covers the island of Reunion and extends offshore to more than 4000 m deep. The DEM is intended to be implemented in hydrodynamic models in order to produce the most accurate forecasts possible of water levels and sea states at the coast and therefore to improve the relevance of Wave-Submersion Vigilance.
