The green structure vision map is part of the '2018 Green Structure Plan Update'. This policy plan was drawn up by the municipality and is part of the Utrecht Environmental Vision. Read more about the Environmental Vision here: https://milieusvisie.utrecht.nl/ All areas in the green structure are shown on this map. We use this to indicate which places in and around the city we want to keep green or improve. If a plan causes greenery to disappear from the green structure, the municipal council must first decide on this. When assessing an application for an environmental permit, the municipality assesses whether it is part of the urban green structure. The green structure map indicates a vision: not all parts have already been realized, but we regard them as reservations for the realization of future urban green.
