Actual usage statistics in NRW

The basis for the statistics of actual use is that in Germany, according to the Agricultural Statistics Act, generally annually for the reporting period December 31st. of the previous year an area survey is carried out. Survey characteristics are the floor areas according to the type of actual use. The survey units of the area survey are the municipalities and unincorporated areas. The authorities responsible for maintaining the real estate cadastre under state law are responsible for providing information for the area survey. According to the real estate cadastre decree, the geodata center at Geobasis NRW performs this task in NRW. For this purpose, the secondary data stock real estate cadastre is evaluated. All usage types of the usage type groups for the areas of settlement, traffic, vegetation and water are prepared according to the usage type catalog NRW (see Annex 1 to the real estate cadastre decree NRW at www.recht.nrw.de). A complete list including further information can be found in the document "Supplementary Information". The areas are determined from the geometric ALKIS objects of the actual use, taking into account the image distortion, and are not compared to the book area of ​​the underlying parcels. Only the types of use areas on the earth's surface are taken into account. Overlapping uses (e.g. road over river) are not evaluated. The preparation contains the official code for each municipality, district or independent city, administrative district and for NRW, the designation and the uses aggregated from the underlying districts (per use type area, use type group and use type) with information on the floor area in square meters.
