Prussian original measuring table sheets 1 : 25 000 3245 Oranienburg 1868 (plot)

The production of the Prussian original measuring table leaves began in 1822 for the entire state of Prussia. The maps were hand-drawn unique specimens on a scale of 1 : 25,000. They were not published, they were only intended to form the basis for smaller-scale maps. With the -Instructions for the topographical work of the Royal Prussian General Staff- from 1821 and with the -Explanations on the sample sheets for the topographical work of the Royal Prussian General Staff- content and design specifications were made. The original survey table leaves mark the beginning of topographical cartography, which has evolved in various stages but is still based on these roots today. The maps are available plano and are mostly available as a print. Individual map sheets have been revised in terms of color and are therefore even more similar to the original. These are available as a high-quality plot.
