Newspapers

The Nijmegen Regional Archives has a large collection of Nijmegen newspapers. The scans and metadata of a large part of these have been made available as open data: De Gelderlander (period 1856-1945) and the Provinciale Geldersche en Nijmeegsche Courant (PGNC) (period 1814-1942). For copyright reasons, not all newspapers are included in the dataset. Via the website of the archive you can also find: De Gelderlander, edition Nijmegen (period 1946-1956), De Gelderlander, edition Nijmegen (period 1957-2006, only in the reading room of the RAN) and De Wijkkrant for Nijmegen-East (period 1972-2008).
