Protected areas in Bavaria are legally protected areas with the following objectives: landscape protection, preservation of the ecosystem, protection of species and their habitats, and controlled recreational use. The boundaries of the FFH and bird protection areas are legally binding in the "Bavarian Ordinance on Natura 2000 Areas" of February 19, 2016. The Bavarian complete report is offered on a scale of 1:5,000.
