WMS: Geologie - Hydrogeologie

The Geological Service SH deals with the hydrogeological mapping of the country. In 2003, as part of the implementation of the EC Water Framework Directive, thematic maps were drawn up for the initial and more detailed description of groundwater. The thematic maps of this service show the distribution and thickness of the aquifers, the protective effect of the cover layers and the hydrostratigraphy of the cohesive cover layers and the near-surface aquifer.
