Overview of the hunting areas included in approved hunting plans. A hunting ground is a contiguous area consisting of one or more plots on which the same hunting right holder or a group of hunting right holders has the hunting right. hunting in the Flemish Region of 25 April 2014 (B.S. 12 June 2014). A proposal for a hunting plan must be submitted annually before April 1 by a hunting right holder or the game management unit to the district commissioner of the province in which the hunting area or the largest part of it is located. The district commissioner concerned approves the hunting plan before July 1, after he has made any adjustments, in accordance with Articles 31 and 32 of the aforementioned Decree. A hunting plan can be adjusted in the course of a hunting season. However, an adjustment cannot relate to an extension of the hunting area. If a new proposal for a hunting plan or a declaration of preservation of an unchanged hunting plan is not submitted before April 1 of a current year, the approval of the previous year's hunting plan will automatically lapse. on July 1.
