The image bank of Heritage Leiden and Surroundings contains a wide range of images: from original etchings by Rembrandt to born digital material of today. Partners, application developers and other interested parties can query the data in the image bank via an opensearch API (Application Programming Interface). For example, to use metadata and images for apps and web applications. The set currently consists of just under 80,000 records, but is continuously expanded and updated. These changes and additions are immediately available via the API.
