The digital local map of Bavaria (DOK) is a detailed, up-to-date topographical map in raster data format at a scale of 1:10,000. The DOK contains all roads, paths, railways, bodies of water, vegetation areas, borders, unverified individual buildings, street names, points of interest (school , museum, church, hospital, car park and much more). The DOK is available for all of Bavaria with the same sharpness of detail and topicality. The graphics of the DOK are based on Bavaria's own character code. The raster data of the DOK are divided into 36 thematic levels, all of which can be submitted as individual raster files (one file for each level) or as a total color combination of any raster levels. It is possible to provide raster data for areas of any shape (e.g. along a river). The raster files can be submitted in tiles. The data can be submitted in any resolution up to a maximum of 200 pixels/cm (508 dpi, corresponds to 0.5 m ground resolution).
