Basic registration addresses and buildings (BAG)

The Key Register of Addresses and Buildings (BAG) contains data on Buildings, Accommodation Objects, Stands and Berths and the associated Addresses (number designations), Residences and the determination of Public Spaces. All of these objects (except number designators) also contain Geometry. The Amsterdam BAG service is identical to the national BAG service. The Amsterdam BAG has been supplemented with legally required BAG-plus features for work processes within the municipality of Amsterdam. For the time being, these BAG-plus characteristics have only been filled for the objects in the Amsterdam residence. The city of Weesp does not yet contain any BAG-plus data. These will be added over the years. The BAG-plus characteristics can be viewed on the left in the documentation below, such as: - name of the building ('Amstel station' is better known than public space 'Julianaplein 1') - purpose of use for residential function and purpose of use for healthcare function. this is a specialization of the national purpose (residential and health care function) - number of storeys/highest/lowest storey of a residential object. - number of storeys/highest/lowest storey of a building. (this is of course different from an accommodation object) - description of public space - geometry of public space
