Chemical Status of Transitional Waters 2015-2020 [ARPA Lazio]

The chemical state index is based on the evaluation of polluting substances of a dangerous and persistent nature in the water matrix with concentration levels higher than the Environmental Quality Standards established by Legislative Decree 172 of 2015. The concentrations of the substances reported in the Decree are defined by the environmental quality standards (EQS) expressed as average annual values ​​(EQS-MA) and as maximum permissible concentrations (EQS_CMA), set by table 1/A of Ministerial Decree 260/2010. Water bodies that meet all established environmental quality standards for each of the priority list substances are classified as "Good" chemical status and graphed in blue. If the environmental quality standards are exceeded, even for just one year of the three-year period or even for just one researched substance, the lake water body is classified as "Not Good" for its chemical state and is graphically represented with the color red.
