Agricultural pilot area (mass, energy and logistics) (Environmental Vision 2014) (history)

Version of Test Area Agriculture (mass, energy and logistics) adopted by the Provincial Council of Drenthe on 2 July 2014. The Veenkolonien have been designated as a test area for agriculture. New developments in the field of agriculture can be introduced here first, such as e.g. innovations in the field of housing, new crops, efficient water use, sustainability and sustainable energy. The province of Drenthe wants to actively support this. These new possibilities are initiated via the "Agenda for the Veenkolonien" (a joint area assignment of municipalities and provinces in Groningen and Drenthe).
