Drone no fly zones

This map applies to recreational flying with drones and is for information only; no rights can be derived from it. The rules you must comply with (Aviation Act (Article 5.3) and Model Flying Regulations) can be found at: rijksoverheid.nl/drones. Some examples from the regulation are: only in daylight and up to a maximum height of 120 metres; not above crowds of people, contiguous buildings, roads, railway lines, industrial and port areas; drones give way to airplanes, helicopters, gliders, free balloons and airships; within low-flying areas, someone must be watching to warn you of aircraft. In general, it is prohibited to participate in air traffic in such a way that persons or property are (or may be) endangered. There may always be temporary prohibited/restricted areas in connection with an event, for example (see "Temporary Airspace Restriction" on www.lvnl-ohd.nl). For uncontrolled airports, flights within a distance of 3 km are permitted, provided there are no objections from the airport operator. There may also be areas that are used temporarily and exceptionally for the take-off and landing of aircraft; flying within a distance of 3 km is permitted provided there is no objection from the operator of that site.
