Potential shallow geothermal formation of Oosterhout

Commissioned by the province of South Holland, IF-Technology carried out the study "Potential geothermal energy in South Holland", 2 December 2016. This map shows the potential of the Oosterhout formation. The formation is located at a depth of approximately 200 to 400 m-NAP. The potential for shallow geothermal energy (OGT) is defined as the amount of groundwater that can be extracted from the subsoil at a location for the supply of heat (flow rate in m³/h). Geothermal energy is also known as geothermal energy.
