Potential high temperature storage Sand from Brussels contour

Commissioned by the province of South Holland, IF-Technology carried out the study "Potential geothermal energy in South Holland", 2 December 2016. This map shows the potential of the Sand of Brussels. The formation is located at a depth of approximately 650 to 850 m-NAP. The potential for high temperature storage (HTO) is defined as the amount of groundwater that can be extracted from the subsurface at a location for the supply of heat (flow rate in m³/h). Geothermal energy is also known as geothermal heat.
