GES contours noise (Lden) - air traffic

The noise exposure as a result of air traffic (Lden) has been translated into GES (health effect screening) contours and shown on maps. The noise contours Schiphol Lden dB are shown. All homes and sensitive destinations located in the various GES contours have also been mapped. The aim is to gain insight into bottlenecks in the existing situation and into the risks associated with new developments. With this insight, choices can be substantiated.
