Georeferenced Bonnesheets

These topographical maps were published by the Army Topographical Bureau between 1866 and 1951. The maps were scanned by the Topographical Service between 2001 and 2004 and georeferenced by Alterra's Geo-information centre. An image file of a receipt sheet in geotiff format has been created for each map sheet. The different map sheets were then merged into a grid dataset in a Geodatabase. Because several editions (years) of a number of map sheets are available, a series of map sheets that were issued around 1900 have been chosen.
